Investigators from Taskforce Argos have arrested three men over the weekend during raids focused on the possession of child exploitation material.
Following information received from the FBI, Argos detectives executed a search warrant on a Mount Warren Park residence on Friday.
Police allegedly located a quantity of child exploitation material. A computer, phone and hard drive were seized and a 27-year-old man was charged with one count each of distributing child exploitation material, making child exploitation material, possessing child exploitation material and recordings in breach of privacy. He will appear in the Beenleigh Magistrates Court on October 4.
On Saturday, detectives executed a search warrant at a Stapylton address and allegedly located a quantity of child exploitation material. A 21-year-old man was charged with one count of use internet to access child pornography. H will appear in the Beenleigh Magistrates Court on September 25.
Yesterday police charged a 33-year-old man after conducting a raid at a Coomera residence. Police allegedly located 1000 child exploitation images. The man was charged with one count each of use internet to access child pornography, use internet to make pornography and possess child exploitation material. He will appear in the Beenleigh Magistrates Court on September 25.
