Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a 55-year-old man on the Gold Coast overnight.
Shortly after midnight police were called to a caravan park on the Gold Coast Highway at Southport and located a man on a grassed area near a toilet block.
The man had sustained injuries to his chest.
He was transported to the Gold Coast Hospital where he died a short time later.
