Police have charged a man following the alleged discovery of a large quantity of cannabis plants growing inside a home at Nerang.
Around 8.35am police executed a search warrant at a Riverview Drive residence where they allegedly located a number of large cannabis hydroponics set up in two bedrooms and the bathroom of the home.
A man was taken into police custody at the scene.
A 58-year-old Nerang man has been charged with possession of a dangerous drug, supply a dangerous drug and stealing (electricity).
He is due to appear in Southport Magistrates Court on March 26, 2014.
