Police have charged a man and a woman after the alleged wounding of a 40-year-old Broadbeach man in Surfers Paradise overnight.
It is alleged just before 9pm an altercation took place between the injured man and the couple near a hotel in Surfers Paradise.
The man was taken to the Gold Coast Hospital for treatment of stab wounds to the torso.
His injuries are not considered to be life threatening.
A 26-year-old man from East Hills in New South Wales has been charged with unlawful wounding and assault.
A 26-year-old woman also from East Hills has been charged with unlawful wounding.
Both the man and the woman will appear in Southport Court today.
