On Tuesday, July 8 a number of Volunteers in Policing (VIPs) attended the Helensvale Plaza Shopping Centre located on Sir John Overall Drive, Helensvale. The purpose of our visit was to connect with local residents and provide information in relation to CRIME PREVENTION STRATEGIES that can be implemented by everyone to ensure their home contents and vehicle are protected as much as possible against theft.
Our VIPs also offered their services to conduct HOME SECURITY AUDITS FREE OF CHARGE. These appointments were eagerly snapped up by a number of locals who wanted a fresh set of eyes cast over their property’s existing security measures.
