An emergent situation declared by police under the Public Safety Preservation Act yesterday in Parkwood is continuing this morning.
The declaration was made just after 5pm after officers earlier attended a Greenacre Drive residence with reports of a man making threats. Police are continuing to negotiate with the man.
Greenacre Drive is currently closed and residents in the nearby vicinity are being asked to stay indoors while police respond to the situation.
