Police are investigating following the discovery of a suspicious device at a car dealership in Robina this morning.
Around 8.30am police were called after the device was found by staff in the grounds of the Christine Avenue business.
A declaration under the Public Safety Preservation Act was declared and a 100 metre exclusion zone was established.
Specialist police attended and the device was detonated in a controlled environment.
The scene was re-opened at 11.00am and police investigations are continuing.
