Officers from the Gold Coast Major and Organised Crime Squad yesterday charged a man and a woman after police allegedly located drugs and cash at residences in Ashmore.
The search warrants were executed simultaneously at two addresses next door to each other following information received from members of the public.
The searches resulted in the alleged seizure of amphetamines, cannabis, drug utensils and cash.
A 65-year-old Gold Coast woman has been issued with a notice to appear for offences of possessing dangerous drugs, possessing things used in the commission of a crime and possessing property suspected of being proceeds of crime.
A 31-year-old Ashmore man has been issued a notice to appear for possession of dangerous drugs and possession of drug utensils.
The pair are expected to appear before the Southport Magistrates Court on February 4, 2015.
