Police would like to thank everyone who did the right thing during the first week back to school by keeping to 40km/hr and parking safely and legally.
Hats off also to all the Pacific Pines parents and carers who forwarded photos to police of inconsiderable and dangerous parking. It beggars belief that anyone would actually park on the pedestrian crossing with children crossing and a lollipop lady in attendance.
For those residents who are having issues with vehicles being parked across your driveways please note that police have contacted the Gold Coast City Council and relayed your frustrations and concerns and their inspectors will also be and about.
