Gold Coast Task Force Latro South staff, are today toiling through vast quantities of stolen property in the anticipation of identifying owners, with many items clearly of sentimental value.
The stolen property was recovered in possession of a 29-year-old male and his 26-year-old female partner at Nerang and Carrara addresses last weekend. Their crime spree spanned a 10 day period between February 24 – March 5, and reached from Tweed Heads to the Sunshine Coast.
The actions of the pair have now landed them in court for a host of serious charges including their use of a knife to threaten an occupant in one break and enter, and the arson of a stolen vehicle.
Charged with 19 and 18 offences. The pair are to appear in court on May 12.
