Police have located a man they have been searching for after a knife was produced at a Gold Coast film set at Helensvale yesterday afternoon.
Around 12.25pm yesterday a man dressed as a pirate and with a parrot on his shoulder attempted to enter a premises on Clubhouse Drive, when he was intercepted by a security guard. It is alleged the man produced a knife before fleeing into nearby bushland.
Around 10.30am today a tip off from a member of the public led police to a man matching the description who was walking along the M1 at Palm Beach with a woman. He had a parrot on his shoulder.
He is presently being questioned by Coomera detectives.
