Police from the Coomera Police Station and Coomera Road Policing Command (Traffic) have joined forces to remind drivers to drive safely and to take care over the Easter long weekend.
Police will be conducting random breath testing over the Easter Weekend within the Coomera Police Division. Police are warning drivers that RBT sites will be set up across various locations and police will be targetting offences such as drink driving, unlicenced driving and registration related offences.
Police advise that if you drive to somewhere and consume alcohol then to consider and alternatve method of return home transport such as a designated driver or public transport.
Police will be targetting the M1 and feeder roads at various other locations from Helensvale to Yatala during the long weekend. Coomera Road Policing Command are advising that they are conducting marked and unmarked speed camera at various locations.
