A 66-year-old woman is in a critical condition following a single vehicle traffic crash at Woongoolba early this morning.
Initial information indicates around 5.30am the woman was the sole occupant of a vehicle travelling west along Norwell Road when, for unknown reasons, the car left the roadway and rolled.
The woman was transported to the Gold Coast University Hospital with serious life-threatening injuries where she remains in a critical condition.
Gold Coast Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the incident and are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the crash to contact Crime Stoppers.
